The Master Seminar Series has been a resounding success this year. With broad participation from students and faculty, as well as a line-up of excellent guest professors, each seminar has been a great occasion for learning and building relationships between the students and faculty of Ave Maria and notable theologians working today. In continuation of this series, the Ave Maria Graduate Theology Programs are proud to announce that the next seminar will be led by world-renown theologian, Dr. Scott Hahn. Known in academic circles especially for his work in “covenantal theology,” Dr. Hahn will guide Ave Maria graduate theology students and faculty through a week-long seminar series on “Biblical Theology: The Relationship between the Old & New Covenants.”
Dr. Scott Hahn is the bestselling author of over 40 titles, including The Lamb’s Supper and Reasons to Believe. His most recent titles include: The Creed, Joy to the World, Angels and Saints, and Evangelizing Catholics. Professor Hahn holds the Fr. Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. His academic publications include: Kinship by Covenant and Politicizing the Bible. He is the editor of the academic journal, Letter & Spirit: A Journal of Catholic Biblical Theology. Dr. Hahn is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and the Editor-in-Chief of Emmaus Road Publishing. Dr. Hahn and his wife, Kimberly, have six children and fourteen grandchildren and live in Steubenville, Ohio.
